A Once Future KingA Poem by astoundinglyattractiveI wrote this with Loki feels
I was born to be king.
But he stole me from my home And raised me as his own. I was sworn to be king. But he beat me yet again And I slipped into the abyss, I was trained to be king. But they ended my reign and took me home again. And what if I don't want to go back? A once future king with nothing left? What point is a home these days? When I wish to hide from their searching gaze? A once future king, they told me again I just had to fight and I had to win- and I did, I did! Alas, I did! But the throne is something I will never get. I felt it once, through treason and betrayal- A once future king who was more than able. And my scheme would have worked had he not wished to be honest and good. So a once future king was turned. Evil does not describe this feeling inside, that makes the slowest run and the bravest hide. It's hatred, not less- and nothing more I just want to receive what I worked for. A once future king, banned even from Hell Ah, but where can a tyrant go now? I was born to be king, but I am no longer me I am a once future king who does nothing but dream.
