Put Up or Shut Up

Wants and Needs

I have what I need

then plenty beside

Some folk are starving

with nowhere to hide

It’s so selfish wanting

when others have none

I call it greed

the cravings of some

When others are dying

with nothing  to eat

Grateful for charities

cast down by their feet

Life is so precious

what little they need

So before I complain

there’s plenty to feed
