Another One Down

Another One Down

A Poem by Faint

As fast as I said I liked you

  you used me.

As I realized I did not mind,

  you lost interest.

As fast as I regret everything,

  you gave up.

As I realized I never liked you,

  you already had left.

Now that I've been through you,

  I don't have to wonder.

Now that you've played me,

  you can move on

    to someone else.

We will both forget about it,

  it does not matter,

    we are not left

      wondering.

I just wish you did not bother,

  with me.

And you wish you did not bother,

  playing me.
