Complexicity of the Heart

Complexicity of the Heart

A Poem by Faint

how can we imagine life when all we see are shriveld up leaves and brown fields

how can we imagine light when there are smothering sheets of gray clouds withholding all streams of light from reaching the earth

i remember the suns warmth penetrating through my shirt and sending a wave of comfort up my back, i remember the smile that followed, i remember closing my eyes to have a yellow wallpaper presented

i yearn for these expiernces to be relived because they have been stored forever in my heart

our heart can remember feelings that seem uterly impossible at the present time, it remembers things that often we can not

if you are wading in the dirty gallows, search within your heart to rekindle those memories.

it may lead to seamingly impossible yearnings, but it too leads to unwavering hope and motivation.
