Adios

Adios

A Poem by Faint

Some we try to beckon,

  some we try to delay,

  some we dont expect,

but in the end they are all just goodbyes.

We may never know

if today is the last day we will see a person.

They can be sad

  glorious

  and confusing days,

  goodbyes.

In the end

they offer us one thing:

  a new start

  a second chance

  maybe even a third.

We may not want to

 stop mourning

 but we must move on.

They left for a reason

that we may or may not know

  but they are gone

  and we are not.

So goodbyes are just second chances.

  Its just

  its not that easy

  to think that way.

Nice work, but the the last line seems a bit flip; also needs a bit of polish. I only comment because you clearly are an inspired writer.
