Trapped

Trapped

A Chapter by Faint

Trapped in a aging body

she becomes confused

wondering why things got so complicated.

It was simple to her

you live to laugh

and you laugh to live.

But to her friends,

or what used to be her friends,

things changed.

Boys became a topic of interest

as playing outside became a thing of the past.

She wanted to know why people were changing

but she was too shy to ask.

Too young to know it better not to know the answer

but too old not to notice the change.

She didnt like change

but she accepted it.

Missing people was something she could handle,

not enjoy but tolerate,

but a life without joy and happiness

is no life at all.
