Painted Blue RoseA Poem by Fading PoeticWritten 2012.Starshine, painting signals over the air, my velvet love, you dance blue on the cosmos. Heavens weep, the angelic whisper echoes the wind, the voice I strive to remember. Rose unwilting in velvet blue, a dancer swaying upon my soul, longing I speak, hoping merely for your glance, awaiting your favor, your smile. Starcrossed, ever more the fates jest, taunting, they dance their fingers above. Raining sadness, bittersweet emotions, love comes so easily when those eyes look my way. Rose unwilting in velvet blue, you sway evermore upon my soul, tears of joy, basking in your glance, the touch of your lips, the warmth of your smile. © 2012 Fading PoeticAuthor's Note
