Whispering WindA Poem by Fading PoeticWritten 2011The wind whispers on the trees, Somewhere in the darkness I know you're listening too... The voices audible, Nearly tangible, My ears long to grasp their words Hoping for a glimmer of insight Of wisdom from the trees... Do you think somehow If we both closed our eyes, We'd find more to these whispers, These winds beneath the willow, These songs before the storm? Or maybe there's a calling, Somewhere just out of reach A beckoning only our souls can hear, A banshee calling us home... © 2012 Fading PoeticAuthor's Note
