Cutting myself to sleep,
I believe I went a little
Too deep.
Tell me, darling,
What does freedom mean
If I'm not free
To be as twisted
As I wish to be?
And what does life mean,
If you are living
In a fantasy?
What does it mean,
When you're causing yourself pain,
To relieve the pain?
And what if you're in so deep
You can't sleep?
You can't break,
Because you're so used up.
And what does friendship mean
When your friends
Won't get close enough
To see something is wrong?
Or more importantly,
Nothing's right.

Such a hard subject matter for one so young...you conveyed your honest emotions very well, but so sad....beautifully written though.
