Empty Chirps

Empty Chirps

A Poem by Crazy Claire
"

This is a sonnet, also what we had to write for school. It's not very good, but I tried.

"
The lonesome wolf runs along the midnight,
Yelping so loudly for no soul to hear.
The stars shine so brightly with fear and fright.
He begins to quiver, but shes no tear.
The moon weighs him down, crushing him, slowly,
As dew covered grass sinks him to the ground.
Abandoned, he is, life is so lonely.
His cuts are so deep, but he makes no sound.
While spring petals unfold, his eyes will close.
For the sun makes him wince, the moon brings smiles.
He tries so hard, but no happiness grows.
And his fur sheds, and sheds, into piles.
He cares far too much, it breaks him inside.
The sparrows, they chirp, but his heart has died.
