Dewdrops

Dewdrops

A Poem by Crazy Claire
"

Always listen carefully to what is said, it may be more vital than you realize.

"
Yet these dewdrops of light,
Will not ease your troubled mind.
Yet these metaphors of death,
Will not wise you words.
Yet these blankets of black,
Will not cast a grave shadow.
Though your meaning screams so loudly,
Though your desperation is reeking,
Though your fingers are trembling,
It is you that remains unheard.
The silence is numbing,
And, yes, you enjoy it.
But it is the lion's roar that suits your
Pursuit.
And the last drop in the bottle of
Your happiness,
Begins to evaporate,
And your soul will dissipate,
And your heart yearns to elaborate.
But those scars sew your mouth tightly,
As they consume and control you.
Not amusing, but interesting, I say,
That these dewdrops of wisdom
Will never ease your troubled mind.
