Bone, Blood, and Tears

Bone, Blood, and Tears

A Poem by Crazy Claire
"

I never get what I want. Never.

"
You threw your punch.
I am so sorry
To say
It disfigured me.
And now, you claim,
That it is your smile
Plastered
On to my face.
No,
You aren't like me!
Nor am I like you.
I kissed the ground,
And now I am glued there.
If only you would pick me up....
But no.
All I get is a kick
In the head.
And pure abandonment.
I sang at the
Top
Of my lungs.
But apparently,
My voice is putrid.
So what do I live for?
To see ribs beneath skin.
To see blood fall from the cut.
To see tears in my eyes.
But I never get it.
Damn,
Why can't I get it?
I need it!
I want it!
I crave it!
How come it is never
My
Needs that are obliged?
