I Have Found

A poem to actually think about and not just read through

She is lost,

She is down.

Everybody's looking,

But nobody's found.

She is afraid,

She is alone.

She hides in shame,

But no one knows.

Everybody cared,

But they've given up.

She hides behind hair,

And drowns herself in makeup.

If someone would

Just reach out a hand

Then maybe she

Could understand.

 

She was lost,

She was down.

Nobody's looking,

But I have found.

You're right... it is something to think about. I read though this a few times and I deeply understand the girl described here... I like the emotion and the rhyming was nice. Truly a poem you're left thinking about afterwards...
