in the nightA Poem by S. G. Webb
I mourned tonight,
of time lost under moonlight, when the shadows would be envious of our presence and the feeling of breath against breath. The stars are all laid out, waiting to be counted or forgotten again, but still burning in infinite glory, somewhere recalling our past that we paved into the sky.
