in passing

in passing

A Poem by kevin walls

Somewhere, in some garden where her eyes meet mine and where our fingers touch

Her lips make me step into the unknown. Just let go. Never loose, but embrace

I'm caught in between absence of loneliness and her swooning.
Delicate fingers run past each other in this maze of human emotion. I sit down in the fog I fall into the ocean.

Mystery called love, you don't know me. I am a visitor and now I am caught; just another victim of a first glance

Be soaked in the thought of nostalgic brilliance.
My old timid thoughts merely stand in the background.
Asleep in the wake of a luminous nonchalant discovery,
Immersed in light, my new life can finally take flight.
Those beautiful eyes eye mine and she smiles as I mention her beauty in passing
