Butterflies ~

Butterflies ~

A Poem by J. J. Nightingale
"

AN OLD WRITE.."BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE"..

"

Blood flowed through infinite fragile paths

butterflies tapped inside a satin heart

innocence  fluttered in struggle ..to be

Tethered and blind in a void without time

alone between fate and heaven's wake

Warmed  with whispers and wishes sweet ?

then found wanting .. put out and away ...

conveniently..to sleep...

i connected myself with the picture...and i just wonder how wonderful it would fell when a life is born in our own body...it might be a wonderful feeling..we can feel each and every single movement...magical time..i just can't define my words for this piece i am feeling so touched right at this moment....i am in love with the idea of thinking how it would feels being a mom...great words you left me blank...

dear Jazz... the sweetness of creating a life with a spirit... I do not judge... life has random moments. We are fortunate when we can enjoy the birth and nurture the love borne.
truly expressed with butterfly wings of the heart. Pat

A hard subject dear friend. People make decisions they must live with. Powerful and strong words on a tender topic.

You are welcome my friend.
Wow! didn't expect that ending. I've never understood abortion and how people can look at it as an option and a right. I think its horrifying. Such an impact with this one Jazz.

I am very much PRO-LIFE... Thanks Relic... I appreciate your comments......J.J.
The analogy of this piece speaks volumes. It's smooth and calming, but gradually turns sorrowful 'til the last line. I really love the effect that line creates ... it resonates with such depth and clarity ... it's almost bone-chilling. Great job.
