this is for all who are and have been played by a controlling narcissist.

Typhoid Mary

She's most cathectic;

a real primadonna.

She's most narcissistic so 

control driven.

Miss Mary Mallon 

denies her corruption and

relentless obsessions.

She watches inside 

the back of her skull,

speaks without eyes.

just like a mole.

A hanger-on to treacherous games;

rigged and morphed by day and night.

She never sleeps,

she always wins;

she always wins without her eyes.

Doctors of the sciences keep looking

for her answers.

 

Mary keeps on cooking and

in the loo surrounds her self

with maps that

release her illness.

 

She shreds  to pieces and shakes loose

all threatening closeness and

all blames for the calamities.

She makes you play. 

She makes you pay.

She inflicts the disease to

all around her.

Madonna of Death. 

Ms. Prima Donna of destruction.

Great lines that, to me is the essence of this piece. How we spread our problems or illness without regard. But blame lies on the other side too. If we don't frequent her kitchen we run no risk. Turn a deaf ear to those that would spread disease. Another great write

Interesting take on a real person. The "healthy carrier" concept was unknown until Mary came along. Was she a narcissist? That case can be made because of her determination to keep cooking despite the fact that people were dying of typhoid wherever she went. It is possible to feel sorry for her, though. Because of her condition, she had to undergo numerous quarantines and had no life of her own.

The obsessive, compulsive, possessive, repulsive drama manufacturer. "She makes you play" Nah, I wouldn't. I don't play those sort of games. Chess. I play chess. I'm pretty boring and mundane though, to build a fire you need air, fuel and an ignition source. Take any of those away and no fire. The same goes with instigators, no fuel, no source of ignition and/or no air and no fire.
