One Enchanted Evening

a dory small 

two   -   still fishing 

quieting their universal substance

so to understand the fueling  

of red wine as 

bold and joyful as blushing cheeks

a certain apprehensive bliss

where thoughts become thin white wisps 

melting into the blue drifting twilight

lapping ocean sighing

two oars tapping 

into the hinterlands

Yay, a new write from sir Noodle, that thankfully is not his epitaph, which it no doubt would have been if I had written about drinking in a boat, but hey,, we all take risks we shouldn't. It is called life and can be brutal, whether on dry land or bobbing around a bit on a lake, sea, ocean or quite a big puddle!
Your words E, as ever resonates with this landlubber, reminding of the feeling I get if I've had a cheeky coffee in my brandy, or should that be... Na, I'm almost quite certain it's right as it is, hic! 😊
It does sound like a most excellent way to fall asleep though, just as long as you don't wake up to pee in the middle of the night and realise too late that the bathroom isn't... Splosh! 😊

Truly an enchanted evening. Two lovers adrift in the sea...moonlight shining on them. Wispy clouds drifting just as the couple's thoughts are. Ah, wine, to make it more relaxed.
