Hair

Hair

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

Amazing woman enjoying under stream of big and beautiful cascade waterfall. Girl with slim fit body and long black hair. Kanto Lampo in Ubud area Stock Photo - Alamy

Hair
her hair is water falling
Shining black deeps
tumbling down her back

she tossed her head and laughed
pointing out her split          ends
brushing aside my intent

I thought .............. of
fireworks and
sparklers
as sunlight hits water on rapid rocks.

The soft edge of her pale palm brushed
against hot, bacon greased pan;

                         and

singed a distinct brand      -       the
size and shape of a small caterpillar

right there
just     so

She misjudged time and
tender fingers nicked the oven rack and
ever so slightly .....

a cooling ... and deceiving
open oven's door

sizzling burn             instant blister
and hurt gone unscathed
how can such a beauty be?

How can such a beauty be indeed Sir E. A perfect contradiction of perfection and what others would mark down as negatives, but only someone who truly sees beauty can notice split ends and oven burns and still see perfection.
I hide my split ends behind a beanie these days and barely bare my skin in these sub Arctic days... Which is just as well as dating here involves so many layers it more resembles a game of pass the parcel than anything that could even be called lukewarm action.
As ever, always a pleasure to play random roulette on your page, where I have an uncanny ability to hit jackpot most times.

Distraction by what ever means can lead to painful experiences. As I started I wasn't sure where I was going but I guess I was distracted as well. Nice job.

First and before anything else, being with the darkest hair I am extremely thankful for You, generally we see many poems about the beauty of blondies. second, this must be one of your finest poems... majestic, mysterious, deep, sensual, passionate... yet sentimental and tender. this kind of composition what makes the beauty of this poem outstanding. and someone who is able to taste such beauty and expressed it in that way, is surely someone whose inner is beautiful and know the worth of true beauty. a superior stellar gem...

;) ........................
This is a very tender poem, with vivid colors and abstract images; even with a burn from the oven this beauty goes unscathed…. And to you, a chemistry. That fits the desire you crave…..
Soft and intimate…

This seems like just another day and it's like taking a black and white page out of life and adding in the colours that amplify the senses.

I couldn't help but focus on the burns...a grease burn is a b***h. But you know, I really like this. A few people have mentioned how it's a bit out of your wheelhouse, but that's a good thing! And you're a good thing, too!

sizzling burn instant blister and hurt gone unscathed ........ such a dichotomy. It would be wonderful if hurt did go unscathed. What a better and happier life it would be for everyone. This poem is softer than your usual write and I really like it. Glad to see the muse is working your noodle again. Temp

The image and the writing are connected, just not in the obvious way.

I kind of like that.
Now, haven't read much in your style before and it's been a while since the last one... And so my de-coding module is dusty hahaha

I'm guessing you were writing about desires, particularly for another person or perhaps... Just the remnants of desires for multiple people down the line.

It does seem centered on one person but then, there's always more to it hehe.

Another idea might be just that feeling... You know, that emotional high you get as a teen when you see your biggest crush haha yeah, that's kind of desire but that high doesn't actually disappear... Just matures a bit over time, and even after 'adulthood' when it's no longer that childish craving... It matures again.

Huh... Look at that, I'm dozing off hahaha
Sorry for the long comment.
Cheers

Definitely cool, this feels hot but an abstract kind of hot that has people sighing and wishing it were them. I can hear subtle blues tune, sax I think, in the background as this poem sashays across the page. Really cool.
