Do my eyes deceive me? Is this a new poem? It most certainly is! And starts with a two-BIT word. I love to learn. Couple days ago it was crepuscular. Today, surcingle. Strapped it to my mind and will have to take the word for a ride some day. I ride your words. I loved the line, 'puts the spurs to tongues of hues and distinction'. As Kramer would say ... Giddyup Gene!

I read this in the morning and just now have the time to leave my review. My first thought was " I am too rare to be cloned" LOL . I am not sure if I got You right? making fun and being upset of the "clone" thing and everything around where humans put their finger to destroy, working against the law of nature. This is what I understood from your words.

yes you sure are Light .. rare and wondrously made! ;) i like where you take this .. unnatural for sure ..it's like how dare we? .. where does one call it too much .. who is to set those "rules" .. right now it is the Scientists with little interruption .. makes me think of the horrors of baby abortions and the audacity to actually "harvest" parts and pieces .. oh .. my breath is sucked out of me how these things happen every day .. and worse .. body mutilation of confused men and women .. every unatural thing being done to change their body into what it is not .. and applauded .. there is a sickness upon the land .. i think it deepens each day and frankly .. is starting to terrify me ... love your presence here at the Cafe' my friend .. love your comments!

Hey Mr E, delighted to come across a new write from you and worth the waiting for I might add. Some great lines and a new word for me to keep me on my toes. Too many sheep, too many following, often stupid pathways. We need leaders, trail blazers and new directions too.
Less of the clones and more individuality.

it will be a great Wednesday my dear dahlink, Chris .. thanks for taking a peek .. yes .. a "Nation of Sheep" ..we all need to be on our toes eh!? the seductions can be subtle ... but still deadly ;) i'll be going to the gym in a bit, with yoga afterwards .. just started that several months ago .. three times a week .. good stuff says i! my two cuppa's are in the tank .. just about time to put on my gym clothes and get going ... glad you enjoyed .. thank you for pointing out a specific line .. that helps a lot eh!?

thanks brother! really pleased you stopped to read and review ... trail blazers eh!? as the famous galaxy explorer, Buzz Lightyear so aptly put it "To Infinity and beyond! ... not sure what a Cowboy would be without his six shooter tho ;) i do take your meaning .. all murder is horrific and a terrible destruction of ones soul mind and heart ..i got this from wttw news in Chicago "Through the end of April, 178 people have been killed in Chicago this year, according to Chicago Police Department data." .. odd the outcry for those mostly Black on Black deaths is not made .. not to diminish the horror of elementary students and two adults being murdered by one person ..i this this is an epidemic of sinful corruption of what God made us to be ... anyway .. i kind of assumed your heart hurts because of those recent murders and you were referring to it .. if not .. well ..oops! thanks for reading dear friend! and for your empathy towards life

This one speaks to me in a, I like the way it sounds, way. :) This poem can be interpreted in a few different ways. As a people we easily follow what has been fed to us without question and accept it....we take the bit. Or....there's an old cowboy who has done this many times before and, taking his old dog, sets out on a nice day for a ride. :)) So very interesting. Makes one really think about this.
