Not sure about the need for first three stanzas, but I do like saw toothed mountains so yes, a ponderous picture of heavy issues sealed in Pandora's boxes. I like the rhythm, form and the way that you typically go for broke as in the golfer's lament - never up; never in!

A lot in the way of visions, and even things to think about, many things for a while. --- Thanks for the words, --- "hollow walls make spaces for souls and
demons just as easily" --- and for the ride.

Feedback, when presented correctly, can be helpful. Have a great day.
the weight loads one shoulder
then; another beyond balance
winding about the neck
like cobwebs
This is a great stanza and the ending ties it all together! Poem itself is well crafted!

The visuals in this are beautiful. This entire piece is beautiful and full of raw passion, I thoroughly enjoyed it. The flow was enjoyable and just right. Mountains have always been one of my favorite things ever, I find them to have their own kind of beauty, so when a poem can capture them that’s when you know you did something right. Thank you so much for sharing!

This reminded me of the book, Bridges of Madison County, for some reason...the photography and romance mix I think. I love the writing of Robert James Waller. He's so talented. I enjoyed your poem and like the staggered lines for emphasis. I enjoyed the read.

Yes, definitely check out Waller. I recommend "Border Music" by him to read. I'm not so familiar with movies as with books. I could tell you Clint Eastwood played in the movie and that's about it. Sometimes the books are not the same as the movies but generally the books are better. One exception that I recall was Stand By Me. The movie was made from Stephen King's story, "The Body" and it's almost exactly the same. I'm certain King had a say in the making. The characters are perfectly visualized by the people playing the parts. I was delighted with it. Education is a relative concept. I've known many a college professor who couldn't build a house or grow a garden. My dad was a brilliant man but didn't have much in the way of a college education. But he could build anything, take motors apart and reassemble them, electric or gasoline engines, he could repair televisions and Ham radios and CB radios. He was a sewing machine expert and could even repair broken watches. He had a library of how-to manuals but not much in the way of novels, poetry or philosophy. He was a very pragmatic person. His favorite pastime was fishing. ;) I like a bit of fishing myself. I will definitely try my best to stay well and wish the same for you. Bless. F.

He fought the Japanese in several different engagements and came home with a steel plate where his ankle used to be. He carried a Thompson Machine Gun or Tommy Gun as his standard service weapon. His service patch had the Thompson framed by rockets on either side. The rockets represented his ship, a LSMR (landing ship medium rocket). He was a real hero and still is to me. Bless.
Awesome poem with hollows mountains and fine imagery as well as trip tour word choices so poetic wow!. Kudos for this great poem!

First I have an ebony hair (ok mine is dark as the night) so YUPIIII!!! because I feel now the Goddess of this poem in her goodness and badness lol. yes that what I feel here, mother nature in her finest and wildest moods, her gentlest and angriest touches, her mysterious and peaceful natures, sure a real woman can embodies it all. of course your style here is YOUR style and You took us into a journey of your own ink. I feel like I am in a fairy tale...
