Brilliance

magnetic poles pulling
green Earthen
grey rock pressing

instant   yet
drifting like John Deere Tractors
lost in the herd

slight changes
brought a dramatic blaming
black holes of shaming

pondering   -   what was it?

some game of psychotic blood lust?

for HIM .... it was straining the
bonds of God and man.
for HER
it was writing poetry.

Diamonds are a long time in the making. Their brilliance is awesome. Their value, out of reach for many. Likewise to produce a poetic diamond, that too is of great value and rare, rare, rare. And love is brilliant too and in its purest form rare, rare, rare. I am reminded that it only takes a minute shift. A small pebble moving, can produce an avalanche. Can change the shape of a mountain. Can destroy the way it looks forever. Dear Mr E, your poem has my mind wandering in many directions. I am unsure of your meaning here, but your words give a spiritual feel about them and a feeling of what will be, will be. And I am still left with the diamonds. They are just as beautiful. They have not lost their shine. Wonderful poetry.

one of the several reasons why I have recently absented my self from the café is that for some obscure reason unbeknown to me is that numerous reviews I have written appear to go missing .. You’re very welcome dear E.
I was a jeweler for years sir Einstein, so I know their value, brilliance and different shapes. They are amazing and the work to shape, polish and produce are a wonder.
Your poem and your works are valuable and polished too.
Happy belated Thanksgiving sir.

Wonderful poem ! , Diamond is the hardest substance on this earth , Like Love , it is not fragile , it is a strong bond . It's rareness and brilliance is in its hardness , it is what binds us together . As u said , it is like the strong pull by the poles of the other magnetic nd strong . When white light passes through that diamond , that light refracts to say so many things .. Just like love not a single emotion just a combination of many ....

Wonderful poem, metaphor, form, pauses, breaths taken to think... We are diamonds in the rough as life compresses us, clarifies us, hopefully shines us a bit... Diamonds in faceted, prismatic rainbows of words, of existence, of treasure-to each their unique own. Perfect message my friend.
