magnetic poles pulling

green Earthen 

grey rock pressing

instant   yet

drifting like John Deere Tractors 

lost in the herd 

slight changes 

brought a dramatic blaming

black holes of shaming

pondering   -   what was it?

some game of psychotic blood lust?

for HIM .... it was straining the

bonds of God and man.

for HER

it was writing poetry.

Diamonds are a long time in the making. Their brilliance is awesome. Their value, out of reach for many. Likewise to produce a poetic diamond, that too is of great value and rare, rare, rare. And love is brilliant too and in its purest form rare, rare, rare. I am reminded that it only takes a minute shift. A small pebble moving, can produce an avalanche. Can change the shape of a mountain. Can destroy the way it looks forever. Dear Mr E, your poem has my mind wandering in many directions. I am unsure of your meaning here, but your words give a spiritual feel about them and a feeling of what will be, will be. And I am still left with the diamonds. They are just as beautiful. They have not lost their shine. Wonderful poetry.

thanks Pat ... T-Day was restful for me .. I spent the morning at Mass, cooked a turkey breast with fixings and Beau and I sat back to eat and nap! ;) Neighbors have told me that booster has quite the kick to it. Hope yours did not give you too much trouble.

dearest Gene… Roger and I had a restful Thanksgiving with Seafood Scallops.. thankful that we have Heat for the Winter. Our grandchildren visited us in the afternoon… after having Dinner at home. We sipped Tea and took a long walk around our Curcle of homes. We moved here four years ago. The Curcle was already named Patrician Court. What a coincidence to live our “golden years” in a Court with my Name Patricia. May your view of the Sacred Sky be blessed with Stars…. Remembering the Wise Men who traveled Far.
