My snow
December's moon
Beleaguering too soon
the hearth that holds a fiery heat

An essay it is in brevity, so much said in so few lines. You have to love those shorties!

The Winter's day seem to last forever. The warm days of Spring and Summer. Goes so fast. Your words, understandable, heartfelt and strong. Thank you Einstein for sharing the amazing poetry.

Was my pleasure and you are welcome my friend.
The Cafe seems to be on a roll with Cinquains lately, I think ;) must say, I love this one the most. Probably because you mention the moon here :D
Lovely imagery here and certainly doesn't seem (if you hadn't mentioned) like it's the first one you've written ;)

Two ways to read this lovely cinquain poem;, maybe the winter of your life or maybe a alove that has lost its warmth and gone cold.
The cinquain is a lovely form to write in, not too short and not too long :)

At least you fire up the imagination in this wonderful, formative poem. There is a subtle message within, too. Kudos Einstein Noodle.

Lots of emotion hidden between the lines in this cinquain. A love affair gone cold and now the December chill hits even your heart. I like it, E.....well written. Lydi*
