Rose Colored Glasses

Rose Colored Glasses

A Poem by Einstein Noodle
"

you tell me! ;)

"
                                                Rose Colored Glasses
prisms
rose and glass
clinking them i drink
scented fresh Chardonnay
bouquet red blush
pulling on one leg at a time
i wear cotton fast to sleep
little worlds of bliss
a kiss
i pray my soul to keep

Nice expressed poetic prayer. Very creative. We all deal with one leg at a time hoping the choice is the right one.

You just made my day, again my friend...All Good Things.. N
The title tipped me towards the comforts that bring us more joy than just the simple sum of their parts, just like the memories we look at with rose coloured glasses on.
Words of elegance, in a less than elegant world.

That's a divine description of a delectable wine, E. A pleasure to touch, taste and behold. And the wonderful sleep that follows. I wish we could hold on to such moments of bliss. Simply loved this reading experience!

I heard that tinkle of crystal and the pouring of pink into its sparkling embrace. And cotton sheets. Simple pleasures, enjoy my poetry friend. Sweet dreaming.

same to you Christine ..your a peach ;) thank you for taking time

After that red hot (I mean cool!) Chardonnay, it better be a strong prayer!

This could be an entry poem for a chapter of a novel, each line hinting at a next part of the story. Murder in the cellar? Too dramatic? Love in the cellar? Better?

Great write, as usual!
