I like this. I like the simplicity of it. It is a sweet, readable, memorable poem. I am lousy at reading and writing poetry, this is at my level. Thank you. :)

i 'got' the first stanza but not he 2nd.
i couldn't quite 'get' the juxtaposition of the 2 stanzas, a bit too esoteric for my brain, einstein.
then reading the comments from junglee & ardra i understood the whole poem.
it seems i have to read people's comments for my brain to comprehend your 'sui generis' poetry.
but i keep trying !

Sounds like the night time prayer of a lonesome dove. He sounds contented but still somehow longing for the romantic side of life?

Hi,
Long time no read!
This is really interesting. I personally think it is very important to see both ends of the spectrum, so I relate this.
Hope you're doing well. I apologise for my absence. I am in college now.

Thank you :)
I shall update my page soon so you can have a read.
after a long days maceration, I tend to blush at such prose.... My sister (an artist) once told me that everything is violet upon leaving home to never return so i bought a pair of purple sunglasses and have worn them ever since, so I have to agree with her. Very contemplative writing Mr Noodle!

Very nice. It somehow made me think about a person taking their last drink and then dying in their sleep.
