Your poem is itself a “disseminating” red sun of apocalyptic truth my friend. Exploding, imploding earth in “hot black macadame tar” fumes...brilliant imagery, brilliant language, form, flow, balance. Chronicles in fossils. Great poem with a most important warning. Kudos!

Ha! I Didn’t even notice- your poem was that good my friend! Thank you much for your words E.:)))
The mood is somewhat dreary these days. We're all feeling it. The weight of the world and the burden we place upon it exacerbated by cynical politics and doomsday scenarios ...

Thank you for the review "The Encounter". I seem to do better with short stories. I read your poem "Disseminating". You have a way of form and knowledge of words that some day I hope to achieve. I had to read it a few times to absorb and enjoy it. well done. Vic

I read this wonderful poem as a 'call to arms' when it comes to the environment. It is such a sad state of affairs and now we are actually witnessing the results of the neglect with the changes in weather patterns, melting glaciers etc. A very powerful, important message you have put here with your amazing style and grace.

Garbage in, garbage out; seems more the way of the world every passing day. Plastic bags and bottles, the latest must have (and entirely pointless,) gadget, political rhetoric with no answers, the great god Google, buy one get one free, (didn't even want the first one,) it's a never ending stream that assaults and assails the senses until you want to scream 'Stop the world, I want to get off!,'
A hard hitting poem you have penned here.

What have we done to the water? Like the water of the world which has become so polluted, so the 'water' of our minds! Let's hope this is just a wake-up call, so that the 'filtering of sand , limestone and charcoal' can clear both land and minds. This is a very cleverly descriptive and heartfelt poem.

it's april...it's the rains of spring...and then the warming, the drying out, much like we do in life...the rains pour on us, we get pain and heartbreak but a spring comes...and we come back to life...we grow stronger toward that sun that lights our heart.

Altho your music & artwork choices lead some of us to think about all that junk swirling around in our big Pacific Garbage Patch (well-publicized curse going on for years) . . . I tend to be in "overload" mode lately, thinking of our public discourse as being a similar swirl of never-ending junk colliding & disseminating in a way where the junk heaps tend to line up in stark divisions. Your vivid imagery is expressed with fresh imagination, which could apply to either case! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
