In Loving God

In Loving God

A Poem by Einstein Noodle

In Loving God
Image result for dandelions in the wind
I let the dogs out this morning
the sky still dark
the windbreeze pressing the moist fog to my face and mind
it smells like fresh hung linens
the dogs offer lakes and rivers
leave fertile architectures ..... shapes like
The Tower of Pisa,
                                   the Pantheon,
Pyramids and sprawling ranches ...
they are big dogs with plenty of supplies
thank you oh Lord ... thank you oh Lord
taking once more a deep precious breath
of my life.
Towers hoisted against forbearing sky -
mountain's root and nerve the
 oceans' poise ....................
I see .................
an undying accord
a persistent rapport
The dog chases the trails of nightfall and
I inhale the scents: perpetuity on mortality
So, thank you, oh Lord, for every deep breath of my life
How can one express such splendor
such vast an expanse in the smallest of life
green shoots and sprouts
clear, clean ice drops .................
one drop of God
on seeking tongues
on bending oak and iron
when our heavy rain enfolds comfort arms
on weathered, rusted roofs ................
God's own assurance melds,
welds the bonds ............
How big you are
Oh God.
E.

Your poetry a celebration of dawn rising. Your lines elevating my mood. As I respond to you the early sun floods through the upper bay window where we are staying for the week. All is good with my world and that is the feeling your words give me too. We should appreciate the simple things in life. Appreciation of little things can bring contentment in a world where there is such cruelty. We are but specks in the ocean of time. Your poetry, rich with its spiritual thread weaving through its warp and weft.
Thank you Mr E.

Your poem is a beautiful reflection on the beauty of nature and the gratitude we feel for the simple things in life. The imagery you use - the moist fog pressing against your face, the lakes and rivers the dogs offer, the undying accord you see - is particularly effective in conveying a sense of the vastness and wonder of the world around us. Your expression of gratitude - "thank you oh Lord" - is a powerful reminder that we should be thankful for every breath we take and every moment we have. Overall, I think your poem is a beautiful celebration of life and a reminder that even the smallest things can be sources of wonder and joy.

I am so happy to have come across your beautiful write this morning. It makes for a wonderful start to the day and a reminder that God is still in control. We can stew, worry and fret about all the things that seem to go wrong in life but at the end of the day, what a blessing to go to bed knowing that 'He's got this!' and can sleep peacefully. One of my worst traits is trying to save the world. I must remember that there is someone 'up there' who is more powerful than anything we know on this earth. Thank you for your words today dear E.

Just one of the many bells that resonate throughout your amazing tribute. The whimsy of big dogs to big God, and the seriousness of philosophy run like a stream bisecting every line.

Glory, upon glory.
