                                  the pier.

The lightning wasn't quite right

             

they

couldn't quite focus on point.

I am not sure what happened to them.

They just kept spinning 

on their own

in the mist.

By the way... being alone is not Cool.... but then hopefully
Beauregard will "bark" with you. The Video looks like a real sweet Ballet.
The "still" photo reminds me of when My daughter learned Ballet at age four.

this is a very interesting story, made me think. i'd say it could be interpreted a number of ways. they could be people stuck in a cycle/the past, people who are lost trying to find themselves, they could be ghosts..
i love how you left the word "they" (line 5) by itself, it emphasizes the fact that they're alone. very creative!
