Such is the mind of a person when dichotomous thinking takes hold. Stay reserved, yet the mind races with the thought of K I L L. No in between, and once that barrier breaks and reservation is no longer an option, it all spills out.

A very intriguing one, well done.

yes ... exactly! tho we can think of many explanations for the act ... they are all surface, i think ... its that "button" that stands alone and we either push it or not ...at least that is what i was pondering when i wrote this one .. thanks for taking time Tai! and for your thoughtful review

ahahaha ...yes .. well cat's a fickle aren't they? your comments remind me of Schrodinger's cat .... the theory of quantum indeterminacy or the observer's paradox. It's an interesting mind puzzle to think about ... you are very generous in reading so many of my poems at one sitting ... thank you always ... it is gratifying and humbling at the same time .. i really appreciate it!

A really powerful acrostic. In such large, bold print, it really has impact. I have often wondered what would trigger someone to actually sit down, and plan and then carry out that choice, in the full knowledge that they are likely to get caught. Mind blowing Mr E.s
