At last I have a minute to review this one....

One of those saying a 1000 ideas in only a few words.....and it is hard to explain, until one has actually experience what it means to find that grace.....some may appreciate the poetic aspect, but it can only truly be experienced when you find the real thing....:)

i am not surprised this speaks to you my new friend ..as i read those themes in several of your poems ... we are a stubborn people ... self willed and rebellious ... the "cursing " in your response brings to mind this Scripture:
"3What if some did not have faith? Will their lack of faith nullify God’s faithfulness? 4Absolutely not! Let God be true and every man a liar. As it is written: “So that You may be justified in Your words, and prevail in Your judgments.” Romans 3:3-4 :) we all blame God very quickly ...wrongly so eh!? i am gratified my friend that you are finding surprises ... and continue to read my "stuff" ... love and peace brother!

you know the deep sigh of relief you feel when the weight of the world is picked up off your shoulders and you can take in an actual full breath and release it? that is what this reminds me of. What a blessing it is to know that your worries, your troubles, your needs are not only heard, but help is but a request away. I will never forget the day the footprint poem was explained to me. I was a little girl but the thought that someone loved me that much that they wouldn't ever leave my side gave me such comfort when I needed it. faith can carry us through the darkest of times. i agree 100% ... not giving up is all we can do at times ... keeping the dialogue open as you say is paramount ...we get to a place as well in realization that efforts are not going to do it .. we just keep butting our heads against God's mountain ... to fail and fail again .. until we learn that the quiet silence that ensues means, give up; keep your mouth shut dummy .. and listen ;)
