oh gosh I know that breeze ... its like the closing your eyes and feeling the universe kiss your cheeks ... I love that moment of melting between me and the rest of reality ... You know when I was in Kyoto, Japan, I was in a Zen temple with a friend of mine and unusually this Zen temple which is usually very busy was momentarily quiet. I sat on the wooden verandah looking out onto the famous zen garden and closed my eyes and that breeze you talk of above, well that's what I felt as time stood still and I gathered up all of my senses to keep that tiny moment with me forever ... ahh ... and wen I close my eyes right now, it's there and it holds that little piece of magic that connects us all.
Thank you for taking me back there ... X

Apologies for going there again E, but despite this being written before, I can only imagine right now, in these covid stenched days, that this will be the smell and taste, our freedom from lockdown shall bring us. Like a long term prisoners first taste of freedom, nothing will ever compare to the depth of that inhalation that freedom brings.
Even in the depths of a city, we shall all look forward to that warm gentle breath, that nothing but freedom can bring.
So glad i found this one in your archives. May be goong stir crazy here, but in an unusually sunny day here in Scotland, i can almost taste that breeze.

My descendants were from Ireland too, until one of them said"come on, I know a place even colder and wetter! " Born and brought up in Glasgow, now in Inverness-shire, which is as you might guess, colder than Glasgow. Glutton for punishment, but the scenery is pretty decent here.
Stay well, detention will be over soon. 😷
Wow . . . enjoyed the awesome images and flow of this piece. Made me be there! Thanks.

Beautiful artwork and amazing words.

I loved this poem. Touched on memory and my thoughts. Thank you for sharing the amazing poetry my friend.

Gah! *rolls over and knocks into a table idk* Do I even have words to describe this feeling?
"aubergine dew drops leave traces" What a visual this gives, so calming~
"memories conjure dreams" Ugh. My heart. I really love this phrase so much. Dreams are often related to memories and vice versa. Memories are not exact and differ upon each remembrance. Dreams are memories of life; perhaps, they are more accurate? Or they hold something we keep secret even to ourselves.. Ah, this really is so fascinating. It gets me pondering.
As for the whole of the piece, it rolls off the tongue like rolling hills on a mild day. The picture was a perfect ending touch. I feel like cozying up with some warm, honeyed tea now, hmm~~ :)

How very nice to meet you this morning (its 5 am where I sit) what a treat to be brought back to this one by your review ... its an honor for sure ... i could not be more tickled that you jumped into and flowed with the gentle breeze ;) and I could not agree more about dreams .. one doesn't necessarily have to put "understanding" on them ...just remembering bits and pieces of them on waking for me is enough .. i love dreaming ... if i were addicted to anything it would be to that :)) i will certainly repay your visit ... hope to see you round the Cafe' more noe we have met ..thanks so much

For sure, the notions of dreams are fascinating, and it's enough for me to just muse upon them rather than fully understand or make a fixed judgement about them.
I love dreaming too! My "catchphrase" has been "Toujours Réver," always dreaming, for years.
Yes thank you for your visit, and I'll see you around. :)

The descriptions of what it is and isn't are so on point. It widdles it down to the sharp point you are trying to convey.
Nicely written.
