few trite noises

lizard licking 

            slick slip lips

on the tongues of

There are number of lines here that I don't like. Because I did not think of them first. This whole write takes the reader on an almost staccato development. Bouncing (as the format emphasises) from one thought pole, one concept to another and yet the whole is satisfying as far as structure is concened. Subject however is another matter entirely. I find the formost feeling I get it one of unease. I maybe way out there but I feel you do not intend the reader to walk away with a feeling of contentment. You wish to continue the thinking as perhaps the inner child, as some one else mentioned, does. In any event it is striking workmanship.

It is those small voices that will sing truth the loudest if we only take the time to listen. Sadly, most are far too busy with their lives to pay attention when they need to most. Excellent writing.

God bless you ...and your son .. special song, people and time :))) your sharing puts a fine warmth in me chest ;) i use to sing a certain Beatles tune to my children when tucking them in and my little stubborn, independent youngest daughter use to say .."not the goodnight song daddy ..don't sing the good night song" .. she would never tell me what that was all about .. i sang it to her each night anyway ;)

hello ... oh one small voice ... yes ... perhaps we should turn control over to what the children want ... then we have to listen to their demands

'I want endless play, who made rules anyway?'
'I want to feel loved'
'I want people to stop fighting and arguing, because when people fight and argue I get scared'
'I want to share my things with my friends, their friends too, in fact I'd like to share my things with the whole wide world, for if we all shared, nobody would miss out, we'd always be trying new things from differnet people and even different countries'
'I want to make sure the animals are safe, it's not fair to treat them so badly'
'and ... I want ice-cream every day'

we need to not only listen to the children, but show them that love can win, and it can start with them, if they choose only LOVE

Your paper tiger is a wonderful image lead-in. Big voices' arogancy, pride, greed, etc may cloud the public mind but............one small voice led by innocence for the sake of children, the future and those just trying to do what they think best, well this whisper is real nontheless.
