sound proof

ostentation not allowed but

its a comfortable space

like cozy jackets

mirror of sponges.

self absorbing timbers for

moots long imprisoned 

nine inch grey and steel

prisms of pride

secret service protected

more iron clad dowries

password redundancy 

stuck                           

like Walmart greetings

tap tap his cigarettes 

he packs tight and

lights it 

to lip

now why haven't I thought of writing about it? not in a poem though. you did that pretty well.
people won't openly talk about it but it certainly is the favoured retreat of many. mine at any rate. that's where I make important decisions like getting married or deciding to have kids.

Here in oz it’s the ‘Crapper’ but also affectionately known as the library where many a plan is thought out, brainstorming done, newspapers read etc....me personally more a place of business and I’m a man who know many what he wants so in and out I go....loves this haha

ain't it the truth my friend ... when Norma was raising her 5 children ..as a single mom ..she released a big sigh of peaceful serenity when she found the bathroom empty ..only to be, upon seating herself, instantly interrupted with little fingers under the door and quiet little choruses of Mom...MOm...MOM! ;) thanks again for reading around my place ..much appreciated

Its not the bathroom its what you do in it. Oops did I just say that out loud?
Always make sure I have a bath occasionally instead of a shower just to ruminate. Although its easier getting in the shower. And I do have to bail all the hooch out of there with a small cup beforehand. Oops did it again didn't I? No hooch or liquid of anykind in there other than water, honest!
Wit personified and points well made, I tell you. I really enjoy your work.

well...it is your bathroom after all eh!? :))))) glad you found the fun and points in this one sir .. in our old place we had a great soaking tub ...which indulged me on a regular basis ... foam, scents, and a hot tottie all a part of my cleansing of soul and body ... a fine stress reliever ....here in our new cabin beautiful Norma bought us a small hot tub ... its out on our deck in back and it is a rare evening i am not in it! God bless Norma! and God bless you too sir...it is a treat and privilege to get to know you a bit every time we "talk" :)
