Einstein's Ring

Einstein's Ring

A Poem by Einstein Noodle
"

i hope you enjoy this go at an English sonnet and a bit of romancing the Science ... i added a haiku for the same title for fun .. let me know what you think :)

"
Einstein's Ring

My darkness falls over your haloed brow;
beguiling my heart, seducing my dream.
These eyes in search, the sourcing of the Tao,
a beauty eclipsed beyond what it seems.

Fair light is bending 'round curves, thus renew
dark matter enraptured heart in the skies
my gravity closing  a rainbow hue
to gather wrapped fingers of stars and sighs

Your presence was hiding behind cold shield;
while lightning explodes in brilliant arrays
Light sounding 'round heavenly faces yield
sun rings while Helios tightly at bay.

Gaze not in wonder God's gifts that abound;
songs of the Universe sing and resound.

Haiku (of the same title)

galaxies hiding
eclipsing eyes perceiving
light bends delighting

from Wikipedia
"n observational astronomy an Einstein ring, also known as an Einstein-Chwolson ring or Chwolson ring, is the deformation of the light from a source (such as a galaxy or star) into a ring through gravitational lensing of the source's light by an object with an extremely large mass (such as another galaxy or a black hole)."[1][2]

dark matter: (same sourse)"Dark matter is a type of matter comprising approximately 27% of the mass and energy in the observable universe that is not accounted for by dark energy,"

dark energy: "a theoretical repulsive force that counteracts gravity and causes the universe to expand at an accelerating rate.
"Einstein's theories allow for the possible existence of dark energy" "

For me, and aside of the Author's note, this was a meditation's experience, the connection with the higher divine power, the images You saw through it, the presence of Your lover whom was firmly there almost in each image, it was like floating through the universe, an experience not many can fully go through. an amazing sonnet Mr.E something new from You for me to read, and it was a pleasure and real joy, the Haiku is quite amazing and strong too, it's like a "waking up" message to open the mind, to see beyond what eyes can see, and in both poems I felt a sentimental yearning waving gently like the calm sea behind Your lines.

Thank You for sharing Your superb experience with all of us.

Closing this star studded sonnet with a haiku was pure delight.
Your sonnet could almost double as a hope for love.
Very creative and beautifully shared.

I do enjoy a good sonnet Mr E. You have love making and science woven together beautifully in your lines. You have also thrown in a Haiku as a bonus. I have never heard of Einstein's ring, so must make a point of doing some research. That would please my Dad if he was still alive, him having attained an hons degree in physics. Your lines are wonderfully penned. Dark and light. We need both. We can't have one without the other. This is an older poem from your archives and I am delighted it crossed my path today. All good wishes from across the waters.

You do have nature. All in the universe is natural. Except for extraterrestrial contrivance. But as I understand haiku it has to reference a season as well. But who really cares when the words are right, right?

In the music of light you see your love. I like the juxtaposition of hard science and love. Which has no science. If only it did! We could understand it. I can see that you hadn't been schooled about haiku when you wrote this.

OH YES! A real love poem! Einstein, you are a genius. You have elevated human love to great heights!!!!.........oer, perhaps it was not meant to be a love poem. But I will keep looking for one. I thought this one was a brilliant poem, anyway!

Both poems are very cleverly done. I am no expert but I think you have mostly got the metre right. A beautifully vivid poem. I too wrote about the Universe singing!
