... that gave me all the clarity. In fact, it all came tumbling down in a mist of life ... all life ... each swirling microscopic tangent in thought and time gathered up in that very last line ...
a perfect so perfect crescendo you may me smile wide upon reading it :D

Without a firm center we flounder. 'The wonderful, inconceivably intricate tapestry is being taken apart strand by strand; each thread is being pulled out, torn up, and analyzed; and at the end even the memory of the design is lost and can no longer be recalled.'
You can see why ... Yes?
How do I like the eye you ask .. Well this is another strange tweak of synchro destiny ... I just finished reading (literally just finished) a novel called 'All the light we cannot see' by Anthony Doerr - wow what an amazing read. But I this book there is a girl called Marie-Laurie and she is blind - twice throughout the book a description of her eyes are given 'white, clouded completely over,I should have found them unnerving, instead I found some kind of familiarity' ...that's what I thought of your eye ... Seems like life in general to me … or, a lot of that which my mind does or has wandered through in result of the eye's perceptions.
Ah, I am but such a simple man, whom becomes lost in abstracts; still, it is quite like being on a Windowpane or Blue Microdot trip to read such phantasmagorical renderings of verbosity … not altogether unpleasant to the senses.
LOL! If you paid me a million dollars to, I'd never be able to interpret this piece on my own, but it's simply marvelously unique and original to read — no, to experience!

Was the focus of the poem the intricacies of the features of the iris? I loved how it left me a feeling to actually clarify my understanding. Great detail perhaps that is the effect you want to give. Misconceptions and confusion to precise details, slowly analyzing till I reach a proper undertanding 😂😂 till I reach clarity. Hehe wonderful read

Hi E, thought I'd pop over and review in return for your kind reviews of mine. Unfortunately your poems , as do most of Jacobs, sail right over my head. I'm not the brightest, did way to much talking and very little listening during my school years, hence my mainly simple rhyming verse. I apologise but will keep popping back in the vain hope you suddenly develop a liking for penning child like verse. Cheers, Gee

Wonderful alliteration and internal rhyme, two of my favorie things. Perhaps I am competely wrong but it seems to me that the previous comments focus so intenty on the title that many lovely undertones escape notice.
All that is unseen and all that confuses come together when eyes meet. That stanza creates the hope of ultimate resolution.
Or perhaps it is these rose colored glasses.
Either way, this is excellent

Is clarity achievable, in the midst of such uncertainty? A chaotic world, we try to make sense of it. It is our nature. Very interesting poem, my friend. Now, send me that next piece of the collaboration would ya -- I am not used to writing poems over days.:)

I really liked this one so much E.
The words are so powerful and descriptive and the whole poem has an intensity about it.
It creates a hum, there's noise and I get that we need to focus on the world and it's positive energy rather than be distracted and sucked in by the bad vibes. Well, I think anyway. We all interpret things differently and I am known to be wrong often! :)

Clarity in thought and action can save humanity from myriad of mistakes and misjudgments. It will help bring peaceful understanding to many issues we allface face daily. That is why truth and facts are so important to not fall into the trap of divisions and biases. An excellent write with a good political message....:)))))

This is tight wording, exuding an exhilarating beat of reality. Narrative jumping all over the atmosphere and a closing line encapsulating a surge of brilliance. Wow!
