Clarity

Irises seem to circle the wagons;

small tan bungee silk swirling.

Opiate agents responding as 

tidal SWAT members retreat 

Waves in grey green serene

tan blue misty hues .....

Pupils engaging pulse movements

wildly in dilatation ...undulations

"Q" music ... now!

Oxen toes spring to dance with

dragon fly wings singing

sixteenth notes on the swing beat 

Lines of clarity are

drawn when eyes meet 

curves of perfection ... arches of support.

(we see through glass dimly)

fighting friends draw closer

fighting enemies draw wary 

Crisp leather snapping lids

with Jack Booted blinks and winks

whirling dust..... ballet bunnies ....

desperate ......in escaping the sweep

dancing, bouncing, twirling to

hide in plane sight ......... out of sight .......under your bed

Hear the drone of cicadas?

Wearying, laden lashes 

grey lead rolls back white orbs 

pin striped with blood red

drift now in endless lines of division.

... that gave me all the clarity. In fact, it all came tumbling down in a mist of life ... all life ... each swirling microscopic tangent in thought and time gathered up in that very last line ...

I was just reading something from 'Brain Pickings' and I came across a passage that immediately transported me back to your Pom above ...

Without a firm center we flounder. 'The wonderful, inconceivably intricate tapestry is being taken apart strand by strand; each thread is being pulled out, torn up, and analyzed; and at the end even the memory of the design is lost and can no longer be recalled.'

You can see why ... Yes?

How do I like the eye you ask .. Well this is another strange tweak of synchro destiny ... I just finished reading (literally just finished) a novel called 'All the light we cannot see' by Anthony Doerr - wow what an amazing read. But I this book there is a girl called Marie-Laurie and she is blind - twice throughout the book a description of her eyes are given 'white, clouded completely over,I should have found them unnerving, instead I found some kind of familiarity' ...that's what I thought of your eye ... X

love tyhe qoute from "Brain Pickings" ..and completely agree ...it is something i see here in the USA every day ..it has been an insipidus marauding of faith and history and pride in who we are as a nation ... the very core of right and wrong (spiritually speaking) taken away by the alleged higher ground of "open mindedness" leaves all adrift ... such a treat to see your smiling face in the morning ... happy cup of java to ya and i am honestly working on some pics ;)

Endless lines of division...I imagine rows of people in single files, so closely placed one in front of another, so close yet so far from recognizing each other... Ironic isn't it? That the world and people with the eyes of such great intelligence & beauty - cannot see one another as the same, and instead are dictated to follow and look without the clarity (of what's in front of them). If only we all could find our humanity and selves beautiful enough to love, and stop the bullshit / madness to get it together...

I thoroughly enjoyed the word plays and myriad of imagery... great write.

Conscience tells me to retreat, but the opiates unleashed
Caution to the wind - I took the leap.
Clarity feels like letting go of whatever holds us back
Open our minds to see the bigger picture:
Understanding and comprehending it.
The world is in chaos. It is ever reaching
War may be at our doorsteps
We either wake or keep "drifting in endless division"
The front lines are drawn

This was a mind blowing experience E.
And I found the date pretty hilarious
(for some reason) and the eye, made my eye hurt lol (because I only have one) haha...:)
