... that gave me all the clarity. In fact, it all came tumbling down in a mist of life ... all life ... each swirling microscopic tangent in thought and time gathered up in that very last line ...
a perfect so perfect crescendo you may me smile wide upon reading it :D

Without a firm center we flounder. 'The wonderful, inconceivably intricate tapestry is being taken apart strand by strand; each thread is being pulled out, torn up, and analyzed; and at the end even the memory of the design is lost and can no longer be recalled.'
You can see why ... Yes?
How do I like the eye you ask .. Well this is another strange tweak of synchro destiny ... I just finished reading (literally just finished) a novel called 'All the light we cannot see' by Anthony Doerr - wow what an amazing read. But I this book there is a girl called Marie-Laurie and she is blind - twice throughout the book a description of her eyes are given 'white, clouded completely over,I should have found them unnerving, instead I found some kind of familiarity' ...that's what I thought of your eye ... This cries for a soundtrack and be spoken aloud. It is full of interesting, convoluted phrases that seem to fit exactly into the jigsaw meaning. Indeed the words seem to seek their own species of clarity.

dear E... since you are a medical person, I respect your poetry even more... My husband Roger needs cataract surgery in both eyes and is in the care of the McGuire Veterans hospital. Now they have discovered that he has a clot in the artery behind his right eye. His doctor said, if he has surgery there is a one in six thousand chance, he could lose his sight. Roger has chosen not to have the surgery. Your poetry has encompassed my heart with understanding. truly, Pat

He has had no problems with his eyes since then. As to how I re-discovered your poem... are you aware that our site WC will very often post Previous poems (with Titles and Authors only) to the right side of New Poems we are reading.
Very often after I send my review of a new poem, I will click on one of the older poems listed to the right; that is how I rediscovered your Poe “Claity” and then realized I had not thank you for your wonderful Review from two or three years ago. I really appreciate the Depth of poetry in WC. I followed three wonderful Poets from a previous site to WC who are Lydi, Kelly, Ms. Jewel, and a couple others.
I feel like the Red Caboose at the end of a Romantic Train 🚂 from the old days. My favorite genre is Romance and Birds inspire my poems, unless my Muse gives me ideas otherwise. We are so blessed in many ways... even if Aging can be a Challenge.
truly, Pat

Our weather in Fredericksburg, Virginia, is usually rather mild in general, My son Robert now lives in SLC, Utah and they have a lot of Snow. However in the Summer, Spring and Fall, they take hikes and fish
at Lakes on top of two mountains after going through the Canyon and then driving on a rocky road to the top. When their first daughter Shannah was for born,
I was with them for 30 days. Now there is a little sister Kahless who is five yrs old. Robert married a younger lady who is Navajo. We are quite a mixture of ancestry. truly, Pat

Your clarity flows so well, once we let everything around us fade into the background and see, with virgin eyes. I keep getting drawn back to the fourth verse, which could be a poem in itself. "Lines of clarity are
drawn when eyes meet curves of perfection ... arches of support.(we see through glass dimly)This speaks volumes to me. I shall return to review properly, once I have digested this properly. But I shall be leaving very impressed with your words :)

Having recently had both cataracts removed, I can now fully appreciate being able to see for yards again & what a darn delight it is to take a glimpse and consider these splendid words of yours.
I particularly like the seamless flow & the tantalizing imagery you lay out for those of us here to linger over and later most probably ruminate upon. There is a certain clarity here, but I wonder whether when I revisit, as I fully intend to do, I shall see the same things, or whether my perceptions and interpretations will be led in a different direction.
Darn good in any book...........................Cheers, N
