B******s of God

B******s of God

A Poem by Einstein Noodle
"

thank you for getting this far ... you have not become offended in the title ..please give me your input on any and all constructive criticism .. :) as you always do

"
B******s of God

i was born this way.

"You may plagiarize Me if you please."
He said ... while

all of mankind saying: "but
              liters of rain are dropping
turtle-like green shells ............
                      mapping breaches.

the breaches have made us  so
You  reigning
                       Your rain dropping
whole, quarter, half and whole dropping on all

plagiarize me green

green and sprouting shoots ... sprout and shoot ......."
                                              Then the
                                                           troubles
                                                                             came.
with water
smooth grinding pebble stone all pretty in fall colors
racked in slings  ... quarter water a drop
begins admission
                                contrition
waking beached craft; whole whales
                                               drafting  excuses
b******s of God
witches okra .... sly wicked smoke to hide in   (again He says)

"Plagiarize Me
                          if you please

when I say
                             Let it be and
Come to Me"

There is amazing power in your words. Plagiarizing the green of the earth and all things we were taught....copying what we have seen and yet not making it quite the way it was intended. Of course, in order to really "get" what you are saying, a person must believe in what religion has taught. Not sure I have ever bought into it all....and yet the intensity with which you wrote this makes me sit up and take notice. A unique write to say the very least. Lydi**

Good reads always rate a second visit, and I love to make use of the word "and," in sentences ... And so: Very inspiring piece of well executed (not killed but written) Poetry here Mr. Noodle with a lot goin' wid his noggin ... Also, enjoyed Cohen's singing of "Praise Yah that does indicate, not just a priestly lineage on his part, but, somewhere along the line, a cantor ... Shabbat Shalom! ...

I have my favorites too. 'Dan's Journey' for word puzzles.
I can hear this powerful piece done as a play on stage.
I see the dichotomies created here. Perhaps the theory of the watchmaker against evolution. I am not a creationist by temprament or belief but I see and understand the way that arguement should take place and theory should be tested. As it is in this remarkable, erudite 'play'.
I also feel that anyone who is offended by the title is a long way from understanding. Perhaps further than the rest of us.

Seems we're all bastardized versions of our God, whichever one we choose to believe in, nicely composed leaving much food for thought.

This was quite beautiful. " There is a crack in everything God has made" (Ralph Waldo Emerson) "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in" (Leonard Cohen from Anthem)...the words need not plagiarize...if one believes in the perennial philosophy so often championed by Aldous Huxley and Carl Jung...perhaps the truth just grows new shoots from the same old roots...from the same old earth that keeps turning. I enjoyed the read.
