I never got to know either of my grandmothers, they both died before I was born. I did have on of my grandfathers until I was 8. My moms dad and my favorite. I remember him well, even how he smelled. My dads father lived with us sometimes. He loved old westerns and the Price is Right cuz he loved watching the women run and jump, b***s a bouncing hahaha. I cherish old people, they have so much wisdom to share. This was a seamless and beautiful poem you two. I loved it!

The two of you blend ink beautifully. Not sure whose grandmother this was describing, but I could picture her by the window, doing needlework, telling stories of her life that she hoped would be passed on. A wonderful collaboration. Lydi**

Beautifully written. Never knew my grandmother but having been dragged up in a small village, in bred country, she could well have been my uncle.

The poem filled with lines of beauty and elegance. The story unfolded with unexpected surprise. Two minds blended into a toast to the writers.

They enrich our lives with their love and wisdom. Their crafts and sacrifices leave an indelible marks on our lives.
You both did an excellent job in conveying this truth.

The beauty lies in the fact that this poem really makes me remember my grandmas...the way their body feels when they hug you to sleep, or the way their wardrobe smells....that's just beautiful... You've given words to so many indescribable emotions and moments....a brilliant collab!! :*

This reminded me of my own grandmother who usually spent her time sewing. And for reasons i would not know she would likewise starch clothes and i do not particularly like it as it feels uncomfortable.. We had misunderstandings due to generation gap but she had been the best. When she passed away, my heart knew that she went straight to heaven. Reading this makes me miss my childhood days..
