Transitions

Transitions

A Poem by Einstein Noodle
"

in collaboration with Nisreen

"
"Transition"
Mammals wailed in disbelief
whose voices echoe in the deep
The Blues in saxophone relief
twenty tons of krill eating teeth
A miracle was birthed
In full bravery
A figure of man
Brought peace to the land
from the soup of primordial mix
hides in plain sight, octopus tricks
spills ink jets when spotted
unwinding his reach previously knotted
Unhiding a double face
One face appeared
mirrored
With all its ugliness
Tolerating peace
negotiations repleat
Creating so much noise
simply vocal
Confusing the masses in news
it was essential ...
built to destroy
writings of justice
burning the toll
Liars in wicked teeth of brown
Dying in the dawn
Melting in snow
ignorant
transition expedient
relative ingredient
matters not
which face one wears.
E. with Nisreen

-- for me (someone whose first language is not english), this poem describes the anatomy of evolution... and the concluding lines reveal that despite all the commotion caused by people who make a lot of noise or lie, human beings continue to evolve... because those who create a cacophony are not the architects of evolution... they're merely "ingredients"... and their importance is not substantial in the larger scheme of things... it's "relative" to other ingredients... -- -- mammals still turn into human beings and human beings get better with time despite the presence of noisy rotten apples...

-- from this perspective, the poem does a fantastic job of describing the intricate details of the process of evolution... -- the collab is flawless... (one cannot tell who wrote which lines)... so well done both of you... -- the two of you are 'thinking' people... and there aren't too many around so thank you for writing this intensely thought-provoking symphony...

Einstein, when I started reading this poem I had to stop and shake my head. This is not Einstein! This is Nisreen. I had to double check. That is when I saw that it was a collaboration and I laughed at myself!

As with all 'Nisreen' pieces, I had to read this poem repeatedly. I still do not have a grip on it other than it is growth and transition of life over time intervals and what changes the environment underwent.

thank you raj :)
The essence of life itself. I have long wondered if the struggle is really a defiance of gravity..that all stress is due to the battle to oppose gravity and stand or grow upward...with gravity constantly trying to pull us flat to the earth.
Enjoyed your primal images...well penned brother.!!

I must admit, I had to read this a couple times. I don't know if that means my brain isn't functioning on all cylinders or..both of you were just functioning that much higher. What a delight though when I finally got it. We do wear a mask of two faces we...humanity. It seems the distance between the two is growing too. The twisted just gets worse, and the love has to love harder to undo the twisted. I really enjoyed this...I love the sound of ticking in my brain. lol
The words were beautifully crafted together, you worked together wonderfully.

It's sorta uncanny how I struggled at first the other day to find the one theme here and get drift of the intention.
Today I feel I see it. It seems there are more then two collaborator minds speaking several thoughts about the World's situation. When I realized this was several thoughts all coming in to speak of the whole situation.
I went again to the beginning and there it was..... Even the ocean mammals gave voice.
"Mammals wailed in disbelief whose voices echoe in the deep"

It's as though creation itself spoke loudly here from all walks of creation. That is why I hear the many voices and thoughts.
I really do love this. On the surface it just seems like an OK write. But I knew the other day that it wasn't, that's why I said I would return.
I believe you guys were really in -tuned with the creational force and just let go and let it speak.
Conscious or not.
I feel her moving and ranting in this.. Well done : Soldiers of the Pen"

have no idea how that went blank ??? big big hugs Nisreen!!
It seems odd how the poem went from the surreal to darkness... Art mimics life or does life mimic art? I wonder at this sometimes.
The face, or the creature holding life, is never as important as the life, the Spirit, within.
This poetry is compelling for many reasons to me. I like how you leave plenty of room for the imagination.

Hmmm...this is certainly interesting :) Mans evolution is repetitive. We rise to fall and it's on going. Seems like we forget how smart we are lol I love the first 3 stanzas. Unique artistry :)
