Fairytale failure

Fairytale failure

A Poem by FD.

I felt the earth

For I needed to see

My inner birth

And hopes about the willow tree

The wings I was asking

Were never meant for me

They weren’t everlasting

Nothing is for free

I chased the rabbit

But didn’t make it to the land

Withdrawn by the habit

Forever I’ll be banned

My awareness was pierced

I fell into a deep sleep

When in dreams immersed

I would no longer weep
