HUMANITY

As shadows changed their lengths around me

I stand by her grave mystified

Is this where she finally rests

I ask myself again and again, stupefied

Now I recall her every calling

Every word of advice is amplified

My head hangs low in shame

The impending prospects seem horrified

Already the cracks are appearing

Already she seems vilified

Who will now check the chaos

The means to the ends are glorified

Together, we have all killed Humanity

And this crime we have justified

Its your flesh and my flesh now

This selfishness, we had beautified
