When I opened my eyes, all I could see was red hair. It took me a minute to figure out why Rae was in my bed, when I remembered what had happened the other night. My eyes traveled to her lips, remembering the kiss we’d shared last night. I lowered my lips to hers, my hand on her back. I could feel her smile into the kiss as she began to kiss me back, giggling a little.
She had to pull away for air. “Morning.” I heard her chime. This was one of the only times I had ever seen her cheerful in the morning. It was a beautiful sight, and one I could get used to.
