Air

Air

A Poem by SKIP Faherty

Air

Taste the air that you breathe. Ask for whom it was created. Thank the almighty, For the privilege. To feel.  the wonder. The gift.  Given.

Then shed the tear. For it will be soon be taken. Greed has found its way. Poison spread, world wealth dread.  Impending theft. The natural gift stolen.

That was beauttiful. It was poignant and short, but it also had many meanings behind its words. Thank you for them.
