Message To The World

I have fallen
And I have risen
In and out of this dark prison
Heavy medication
With no rec-elation
Between the two there is a strong relation

I've seen people used
And loved ones abused
Its no wonder why I'm so f*****g confused
And I can tell
When things aren't well
When its hard to tell the difference between heaven and hell

Trying to find the light
But we get caught by the night
Its sad when we think that the darkness feels right
Dreams can come true
But its all up to you
I wish I didn't have have to tell you again because you already knew

But some people are blind
They can see but cant find
A way for them to help their spirits unwind
Now you have the tools
To help these poor fools
Do everything you can, what have you got to lose

Take every word to heart
And lets all do our part
Together we can create a new start
You thought this poem was about me
And about what I see
But its true purpose was for me to change thee

There are no hidden messages
Within these passages
I wanted this to give you confidence to get through your challenges
So now I hope you understand
What it was that I had planned
For us to change this world, together, hand in hand
