Moving On

The idea of this poem came to me when reading "We Real Cool" by Gwendolyn Brooks, I liked the way it was written so I decided to write a poem in the same fashion

Left for dead. I
Felt much dread. I

Felt alone. I
Remain unknown. I

Keep my fear. I
Won't stay here. I

Run away. I
Cannot stay.

Full of suspense , short to the point.

This is really cool--every stanza leaves the reader with another question to ask, so the end is more mysterious than the beginning; the suspense builds good that way. I like the fact that the character wasn't named in this piece; the unexplained is often better left unanswered. Nice work!
