                  The devil's sythe causes pain.
                  The devil's sythe causes agony.
                  The devil's sythe causes torment.
                  The devil's sythe causes misery.
The devil's sythe shreds the soul.
The devils sythe shreds the soul.

The devil's scythe, to me, takes more than one form. It is played out as weapons in material disguises. The scythe can be physical, mental, or even both. It can be a person stabbing you with a physical knife. It can even be some type of emotion said with specific words that our minds interpret as dematerialized knives stabbing us in the neck. Great words, JCE.
