Decay City

Decay City

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

Year poem was written: 2014

"
Cracked ruins collect dust and mold,
as they are buried by time.
Silence rings loudly across each wall,
echoing an eerie sound of desolation.

Rust encroaches and grows throughout the land,
like a plague of neglect.
Builders of a once great utopia have vanished,
with only an imprint of their time left.

This home of ghosts and whispers is known as,
decay city.
