The Galactic Drifter

The Galactic Drifter

A Poem by Ezekiel Silver
"

Year poem was written: 2014

"
Soaring through the empty cosmos alone,
searching for a home amongst it's brethren.
An explorer of distant galaxies and nebulas,
            a witness to incredible wonders.

Yet still yearning to find a home,
a place of rest and refuge.
Hoping to find a furnaced sun offering sanctuary,
the dream of all it's kind.

This burning blaze of fiery rock is the legend of,
            the galactic drifter.
